Founder, Project Coordinator
Larissa Pizzolato, M.Sc PhD Candidate University of Toronto Department of Physical and Environmental Sciences Enthusiast for all thing’s nature, cartography, and geography. Larissa is an environmental scientist & educator whose research is at the intersection of meteorology, education, and citizen science. Exploring the use of low-cost technologies to augment existing in-situ data collection initiatives for the validation of satellite-derived geospatial data products.
Motivated by the excitement of youth when it snows, this research seeks to compliment existing outdoor learning to generate robust datasets to monitor, understand, and ignite discussion about local impacts of climate change.
